Aero Vodochody, founded in 1919 and headquartered in Odolena Voda near Prague, is the largest Czech aircraft manufacturer and one of the oldest aerospace companies in the world. Its flagship programme is the L-39NG jet trainer and light combat aircraft, complemented by pilot training services and aerostructures work for Airbus, Boeing and Embraer platforms. The company employs over 1,300 people and reported revenue of about CZK 6 billion in 2024. Since 2021 it has been majority owned by Hungarian investors, currently the 4iG group alongside Hungary's N7 Holding.
