Duro Dakovic Special Vehicles is the defence arm of the Duro Dakovic group, established in Slavonski Brod in 1921, building armoured vehicles since serial production of the M-84 tank began in 1983. With Patria of Finland it produced the 126 Patria AMV 8x8 vehicles Croatia ordered in 2007 and 2008, and it refurbishes the 89 Bradley M2A2 fighting vehicles Croatia acquired from the United States. It employed 546 people at the end of 2024; since 2022 the group has been majority owned by Czech vehicle DD Acquisition, founded by CE Industries and Promet Group.
