Family-owned defence group founded in 1989 by brothers Angel and Javier Escribano, headquartered in Alcala de Henares near Madrid, with around 1,500 employees according to the company. It develops and manufactures the Guardian family of remote weapon stations, Sentinel naval weapon stations, electro-optical systems and Alkon guided ammunition kits, with export wins including an order for 516 Guardian 30 stations for the United Arab Emirates Army. The group built its stake in Indra to 14.3 percent by December 2024 and sold it in May 2026 for about 1.3 billion euros.
