Frequentis, founded in Vienna in 1947 and listed in Vienna and Frankfurt since 2019, supplies communication and information systems for safety-critical control centres. It is the global market leader in voice communication systems for air traffic control, with military customers including the German Bundeswehr and the US Department of Defense. Military air traffic control accounted for around 20 percent of group revenues in 2024, alongside air defence and tactical network systems. The group employs around 2,600 full-time equivalents and reported revenues of EUR 580.1 million in 2025.
