Madrid-headquartered European land systems business of General Dynamics, formed in 2003, with around 2,400 employees and operating companies including Mowag, GDELS Deutschland, GDELS Austria and Santa Barbara Sistemas. It builds the ASCOD and Pizarro infantry fighting vehicles, the Piranha and Pandur families and the Eagle and Duro tactical vehicles, as well as amphibious bridging systems such as the M3. Its Spanish unit Santa Barbara Sistemas is the primary supplier of land equipment to the Spanish Army and manufactures Dragon VCR 8x8 variants.
