Hellenic Aerospace Industry (HAI, Greek acronym EAB) is Greece's state-owned aerospace and defence prime, founded in 1975 and fully owned by the Greek state. From its industrial complex at Tanagra it provides depot-level maintenance, repair and overhaul for Hellenic Air Force and allied aircraft such as the F-16 and C-130, and is one of six authorised T56 engine maintenance centres worldwide. HAI has co-produced F-16s with Lockheed Martin since 1996, supports the Hellenic F-16 Viper upgrade, and took part in the nEUROn UCAV programme. It employs about 2,000 people.
