State-owned manufacturer of ammunition, small arms and artillery systems for the Hellenic Armed Forces.

Hellenic Defence Systems (EAS) is Greece's state-owned munitions and weapons maker, formed in 2004 by the merger of Hellenic Arms Industry (EBO) and Pyrkal. From its Ymittos headquarters in Athens and plants in Attica and Achaia it produces NATO-standard ammunition, mortars, artillery and licence-built small arms for the Hellenic Armed Forces. Recapitalised in 2025 and 2026, it launched Hellenic Ammunition, a joint venture with Czechoslovak Group's MSM, and targets 40 million euros of revenue in 2026 with a workforce of roughly 330 to 500.
