Aero engine company founded in 1989 and headquartered in Zamudio near Bilbao, owned by Bain Capital with Spanish co-investors since Rolls-Royce sold the business in 2022. It is a partner in the EJ200 (Eurofighter), TP400 (A400M) and MTR390-E (Tiger) military engine programmes and Spain's lead company for the engine pillar of FCAS, working with MTU and Safran on the New Generation Fighter Engine. The company employs more than 6,000 people across Spain, the UK, Mexico, India, the US and Norway.
