Defence science and technology company created in July 2001 from the privatised part of the UK Defence Evaluation and Research Agency. From its Farnborough headquarters it runs test and evaluation ranges and training services for the UK MoD and allied forces, alongside robotics, uncrewed systems, counter-drone and cyber work across the UK, US and Australia. The London-listed group employs around 8,000 people.
