CN Romarm SA is Romania's state-owned defence holding, formed on 19 October 2000 and headquartered in Bucharest. It controls 15 factories and a research institute, including the Cugir arms plants, the Fagaras powders factory and the Bucharest Mechanical Factory, which assembles Piranha V armoured vehicles with General Dynamics European Land Systems. The group makes NATO-standard ammunition, powders and explosives, small arms, artillery and combat vehicles, and reported revenue of about 314 million euros in 2025.
