Theon designs and manufactures night vision and thermal imaging systems, both man-portable and platform-based, for infantry and special forces, with over 270,000 systems in service in 72 countries including 26 NATO members. Founded in Athens in 1997 by Christian Hadjiminas, the group has its main production facilities in Koropi near Athens; the Cyprus-based listed parent Theon International plc has traded on Euronext Amsterdam since February 2024. It reported a headcount of 618 in mid-2025 and 2.3 billion euros of soft backlog and options at the end of 2025.
