State missile and space design bureau behind the Sapsan ballistic missile and Zenit launch vehicles.

State-owned missile and space design bureau in Dnipro, founded in 1951, which developed Soviet ICBM families and now designs ballistic missiles, launch vehicles, satellites and rocket engines. Together with the Pivdenmash production plant it developed the Sapsan (Hrim-2) short-range ballistic missile fielded by Ukraine during the war with Russia, and it designed the Zenit and Cyclone launcher families. Around 5,500 employees were reported in 2017.
